Mission

 

To worship God, live the Gospel, and to sponsor fellowship and unity among ALL of  God’s people by rendering loving service for spiritual growth.

 

 

In June of 2007, an informative evening was held at the home of our pastor to introduce the plans of the new ministry called Majestic Ministries of Christ.  Starting in July of 2007 began our once a month services held on the last Sunday of each month at 6:30 p.m.  Soon a group began to call Majestic Ministries of Christ Church their home and a weekly service on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. was added.

 As the church grows, our plans are to build and operate Majestic Oaks Retreat Center.  This center will offer a variety of programs for the general public, lay leaders and clergy from all church denominations. 

From the beginning days, a thrift store was opened in downtown Sarasota to offer community enrichment (providing clothing and household items for the less fortunate) and extra financial support for the ministry.

We are in the initial stages of offering Pet Assisted Therapy (PAT) with our miniature horses.  Check out our Outreach page for more details and photos of some of the horses.
